Origin: China

 Traditional uses: Analgesic, anti-oxidant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antitussive, aperitif, aphrodisiac, bactericidal, carminative, cephalic, diaphoretic, expectorant, febrifuge, laxative, rubefacient, stimulant, stomachic & tonic.

Skin use: in creams, ointments and massage oils to promote blood circulation and local warmth, relieve arthritic pain, fatigue and muscular aches and pains.
