| Because of this highly concentrated nature of our CO2 Botanical Extracts, no more than 5% - often much less - needs to be added to your creams, lotions, ointments, body oils etc. Being of a waxy consistency they dissolve easily into both water and oil-based skin-care recipes under little or only low heat. Some contain added, organic rosemary CO2 extract for its antioxidant effect and/or | organic jojoba oil to make them easier to pour. We recommend CO2 extracts for use in products for external use only, and should never be used undiluted on the skin.
