Oat seed oil (organic) CO2 extract is rich in essential fatty acids, including omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9. These fatty acids are essential for maintaining healthy skin, as they help to strengthen the skin barrier, reduce inflammation, and promote collagen production.

Oat seed oil is also a good source of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps to protect the skin from free radical damage.

Oat is one of the oldest cultivated plants in northern Europe. It well-known to herbalists for its soothing, calming and nourishing effect on the nervous system and also on the skin, where it also has a moisturising, soothing and protective action.

CO2 extraction ensures the full range of bioactive essential fatty acids and antioxidants are present in the pure oil.

Organic, CO2-extracted Oat seed oil is light, non-comedogenic oil that is easily absorbed by the skin and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, and also for hair care

Compared to cold-pressed oat seed oil the CO2 extract is highly concentrated so only small amounts are needed. 

Recommended rate of use in basic skin or hair care preparations is 0.5 to 2%.
