What makes our deodorized organic Argan oil so special?

Ethically sourced: harvested in Morocco using traditional methods in partnership with local women's cooperatives. The fruits are naturally gathered (with a little help from the local tree-climbing goats!), and the kernels are split and gently cold-pressed to preserve maximum nutrient density.

Nutrient-rich: naturally rich in skin-loving minerals and vitamins—specifically Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, and E—together with significant levels of Omega-6, Omega-9 and other essential fatty acids.

Deodorisation: ensures that the oil won't overpower the scent of your final product.

Practical ways to used cold-pressed, organic, deodorised Argan oil:

Thanks to its balanced blend of oleic acid (for softening), linoleic acid (for barrier repair), and palmitic acid (for protection), this versatile oil is highly stable and compatible with both leave-on and rinse-off products.

• Recommended usage: 1% to 100%
• Solubility: oil-soluble. cannot be used in water-only formulations, but can be suspended in small amounts within water-based gels.
• Heat stability: heat stable. Safe to use in phase1 of oil-in-water emulsified creams and lotions.
• Applications: ideal for facial serums, body oils, moisturizers, body butters, hair serums, scalp treatments, and therapeutic massage oils.

Options:

Our organic, cold-pressed, deodorised Argan oil is available in 100ml, 250ml, 500ml, 1 litre and 5kg units

The 100ml is packed in a brown glass bottle. The 5kg is supplied in a jerry can. The other units are packed in UV-protective brown, PET, recyclable bottles. All with tamper-proof caps to keep the oil safe and stable in transit.

Precautions:

Although technically Argan kernels are stone fruits not tree nuts, we advise caution if you are allergic to tree nuts. Consult your allergist or conduct your own patch test before applying or using Argan oil.
To conduct a patch test apply a tiny drop of the oil on the inside of your wrist or elbow. Wait 24 to 48 hours to ensure no redness, itching, or irritation develops before applying it to your face or body.

Argan oil is highly prized for its balanced composition of essential fatty acids (EFAs), which provide its deeply nourishing and skin-barrier-repairing properties.

• Peroxide Value: ≤ 5.0 meq O2/ kg

• Solubility: Soluble in cosmetic esters and fixed oils; insoluble in water and alcohol.

Formulation & Storage Guidelines

Comedogenic Rating: 0 (highly unlikely to clog the pores of skin or hair follicles). It is widely tolerated by most skin types and is excellent for body care, creams, lotions, and anhydrous balms.

• Recommended Usage Levels: 1% to 100% depending on the application (can be used neat).
• Thermal Stability: Can be added to Phase 1 (oil phase) of emulsions. However, avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures (>70C) during processing to preserve the integrity of the cold-pressed vitamins and antioxidants. 
• Shelf Life & Storage: 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored properly. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep containers tightly sealed to prevent oxidation.
  Allergens: Although not a tree nut Argan oil may not suitable for use by some people with tree nut allergies.
