Palm oil butter (organic)

INCI: Elaeis guineensis.

Origin: Ecuador.

Sustainably sourced from organically-cultivated, RSPO certified oil palm trees. Extracted from the pulp of the fruit then refined to product a solid white wax butter in palmitic acid.

It will impart moisturising and protective qualities to all skincare products but it is particularly popular in cold process soap-making because it adds hardness to the soap and lathers well.

We are very pleased to stock this product. It comes from a producer in Ecuador who is now the only palm producer in the world to be both certified organic, RSPO* and Fair for Life**!
