Aromatic Water - Greek Sage 

INCI: Salvia triloba

Greek sage is much lower levels of thujone, making it much less stimulating and toxic than common sage.

Traditional herbalists have made much use of Sage for its antimicrobial properties. It is highly effective against klebsiella, Streptococcal, Staphylococcus and Candida albicans infections.

Herbalists have also prescribed Sage for nervous exhaustion and stress related conditions, for abdominal bloating, wind, colic, indigestion, sluggish liver and jaundice, as well as for asthma, colds, coughs, fever and laryngitis, amenorrhoea and dysmenorrhoea, and excessive sweating.

Externally, Sage aromatic water tones the skin and can be added to our base cream or lotion for acne, fungal infections, thrush, boils, ulcers and wounds, eczema and spots, as well as for muscular aches and pains. It can also be added to base shampoo or base hair conditioner for dandruff, or with Rosemary as a hair tonic and shiner. Sage has a deodorising effect i and is also very effective in toothpaste, mouth rinses and gargles for a sore throat or mouth ulcers.
