Aromatic water obtained from gentle steam distillation of leaves.

One of the oldest medicinal plants in European herbal medicine, with its main area of application in remedies for respiratory infections and some digestive complaints. Externally, thyme helps in skincare preparations for oily skin, insect bites, acne, burns and cuts and infections. Thyme is often found as an ingredient in some natural toothpastes.

Research at Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, found that a solution using common thyme (thymus vulgaris) was more effective in killing the acne bacterium than traditional chemical-based creams.

Our organic Thyme aromatic water can be added to base creams, base lotions, base shampoos, gels, toothpastes, etc.
