Marigold (also known as Calendula) is a real sun-loving plant that sparkles with vitality and optimism. We harvest the beautiful orange and yellow flowers by hand on sunny summer days from our own herb garden. They are then macerated in high-oleic organic sunflower oil to produce this deep orange healing oil. Growing and harvesting the delightful Marigolds and producing this deep healing oil is a feast for the senses and one of the highlights of our year!

Therapeutically, Marigold is a very versatile herb, with many benefits for the skin. It promotes the formation of new tissue, soothes pain and alleveiates inflammation.

Marigold regenerates all skin types and is suitable for most skin conditions. It can be used in the treatment of wounds, ulcers, hives, sores, boils, eczema, abscesses, dry skin rashes, psoriasis, irritation, itching, scars and chronic skin conditions.

Marigold macerate is also good as a baby oil and for sore nipples.
