Deodorised by filtering and high in non-saponifiable fatty acids makes this Shea butter treasured for its ability to moisturise and restore elasticity to the skin and for its healing and protective actions. Particularly suited for dry and ageing skin. A valuable addition to creams, body butters and massage blocks.

Our organic shea butter comes from the most remote parts of northern and western Ghana or from Burkina Faso and is harvested and processed by a number of women's communities set up to ensure fair trade and sustainable production.

Knowing that this butter has been so skilfully produced by hand by women who have such as special and traditional relationship with the Shea plant makes it extra special to work with. There is no doubt in our minds that this hugely positive energy is a secret ingredient of this shea butter that will also permeate the products you make with it!
