Aromatic Water - Rose

The roses used for our rose aromatic water are grown at high altitude in Mount Lebanon. They are distilled in the field, to produce a divine water. Rose aromatic water can be used liberally, both internally and externally (except during pregnancy).

In the Middle Ages Rose was an important medicine. It was particularly valued for its tonic effect on the liver and digestion, and for menstrual problems. Today, herbalists recognise the importance of a healthy liver for healthy skin.

Externally Rose also tones and restores the pH of the skin and improves dermal blood circulation. This makes it nourishing for all skin types. You can therefore use rose aromatic water for any skin type and condition. It is particularly recommended in creams for dry, mature and wrinkled skin, and also eczematous skin.

On an energetic level, of course, it is well known that Rose lifts the spirits and gives a sense of care and attention. Carried by the wonderful scent of this aromatic water, this quality of Rose comes through very clearly to the human user!
