 The freshness of this water will amaze you! Grown on an organic herb farm in the UK, the fresh leaves are distilled the same day as they are picked. Like all our aromatic waters, this is produced specially and with great love and care, as an aromatic water, not as a by-product of essential oil distillation.

Peppermint has been used in the herbal medicine tradition of many cultures for centuries, particularly as a digestion aid, and also for colds and flu. It is also used as a perfume or as an ingredient of colognes and in 'kyphi' the sacred incense of the ancient Egyptians.

Externally, this water can be used neat on the skin for sore, tired muscles after strenuous exercise, in a compress for muscle and nerve pain and bruising or added as an ingredient to your cream or after-shave recipe. In general, Peppermint has a cooling, calming effect in small amounts and a heating, stimulting effect in large amounts.

Contra-indications: Not suitable for children under 5 years old. Avoid in large amounts during pregnancy and lactation. If you have sensitive skin test your reaction using a patch test before applying to larger areas of your skin.
