Aromatic Water - Orange blossom 

INCI: Citrus aurantium var. amara flower water

Our orange blossom water has a faint orange colour as it is made in the traditional way by exposing it to sunlight for a week or so. This is said to enhance its quality and prolong shelf-life. It is sparkling fresh, calms the senses and uplifts the spirits.

Internally, orange blossom water has traditionally been used to calm anxiety, especially when the anxiety causes palpitations, diarrhoea and hyperactivity with lack of concentration.

Externally, it is suitable for skin prone to broken capillaries, inflamed and sensitive skin. It improves the skin's micro-circulation and promotes cellular regeneration. Due to its strongly astringent properties, bitter orange flower water is ideal for greasy skin, or for a tightening effect on lax skin and scars.

Add up to 10% (or in combination with rose geranium water) in our cream base for oily/sensitive skin.

Caution: Do not take internally if you have any heart condition or low blood pressure.
