Black Pepper essential oil

INCI: Piper nigrum seed oil.
Oil from steam distillation from the black peppercorns, dried and crushed.
Origin: India

Black pepper has been used in the East for over 4000 years for medicinal and culinary purposes. The essential oil is an excellent muscle tonic, promoting blood circulation and muscle tone and easing muscular pain, stiffness and recovery from sports or other injuries.

Caution: Possible sensitization in some individuals. We recommend a patch test (dilute the essential oil in a cream or carrier oil first) before using any new skincare preparation. As with virtually all essential oils it should not be used neat on the skin nor be taken internally!
