Oil - St. John's Wort macerate

INCI: Helianthus anuus*, Hypericum perforatum**

The fresh flowers of St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum) are hand-picked in our own herb garden during sunny days in June/July and macerated for six weeks in organic sunflower oil. This transformation in which the oil changes from a pale yellow to a deep crimson is pure magic by Mother Nature!

Applied to the skin St John's oil promotes blood flow and has deep warming effects. This macerate is great for winter hands and feet, fissures, itches, gout, rheumatism, athlete's foot, sciatica, dry skin rashes, burns (after cooling), blisters, facial pain, muscle pain, lumbago, muscle knots, and as an after-sun. It can also help draw out splinters and ease earache

Caution! Do not use on skin to be immediately exposed to the sun.
