In traditional herbal medicine Lavender has been used internally for centuries to aid sleep, irritability, headaches and migraines, high blood pressure and as a compress for rheumatic and nerve pain.

Lavender brings rest, balances, hydrates and soothes the skin. Lavender water – on its own or added to a base cream or lotion with other hydrolates or aromatic waters - is fantastic for all skin types and almost all skin conditions, including:

burns, scalds and as an aftershave spray (especially when combined with Witch-Hazel hydrolat);
insect bites (especially when combined with Chamomile hydrolat);
menopausal hot flushes (especially combined with Rose hydrolat and Rose Geranium water in a spray);
nappy rash (especially when combined with Chamomile water);
itchy eczematous conditions
